Full Time Associate Veterinarian

Suffolk Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Full Time Veterinarian to join our AAHA-Accredited companion animal exclusive clinic offering complete veterinary care, boarding and grooming. As an Associate Veterinarian here, you will be free to utilize your diagnostic capabilities and veterinary knowledge to their fullest extent by helping train upcoming veterinary support staff, healing the local dog and cat community, and educating their owners. To excel as a Veterinarian at Suffolk Animal Hospital, you should be a self-starter who is dedicated to the veterinary profession, energetic and willing to both teach and continue to learn. Strong and positive interpersonal and client communication skills are a must.

You will enjoy working in our well-equipped facility with highly trained veterinary support staff. Not only will you be able to practice both preventative and emergency medicine (during normal office hours only!), our clinic would love to utilize your surgical expertise.      Our veterinary clinic is located only minutes from the heart of downtown Suffolk, VA. With it’s small town charm and continued population growth, Suffolk is the ideal location to establish your own veterinary clientele.  In addition to being the largest city in the state of Virginia, Suffolk is only minutes from many other densely populated cities including Chesapeake, Portsmouth and Newport News.
